Telecom Dept Gears Up Advanced Technology Across City In Prayagraj Ahead Of Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

The Department of Telecommunications has undertaken extensive measures to facilitate uninterrupted communication for the millions of pilgrims and visitors expected at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

• According to the Communications Ministry, telecom service providers have been directed to implement cutting-edge technology and enhance network performance throughout the city and the Mela vicinity.

• The Ministry further reported that a total of 126 kilometers of optical fiber has been installed across Prayagraj. Additionally, 328 new towers and 575 new Base Transceiver Stations have been established to guarantee strong and continuous connectivity within the city.

The Maha Kumbh Mela is a major religious event that draws millions of attendees from around the globe to Prayagraj.
