Book Launch – Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages’

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to launch a book entitled ‘Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages’ on January 2, 2025, in New Delhi. The Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, will serve as the Guest of Honour.

The book aims to narrate the historical journey of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, providing insights that cater to both specialists in the field and those who may not be as familiar with the subject.

It is organized into seven sections, encompassing a history that spans over three millennia.

Available in both Hindi and English, this publication is the result of a collaborative initiative between the National Book Trust, India, and the Indian Council of Historical Research.
