Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra Takes Charge As Chief of IAF’s Western Command

Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra took command of the Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force on January 1, 2025. He was commissioned as a fighter pilot in December 1986. Over the course of his 38-year career, Air Marshal Mishra has held several significant command and staff positions. He succeeds Air Marshal Pankaj Mohan Sinha, who concluded his distinguished service after more than 39 years.
